Welcome to the absurd underbelly of Bonkers Bum. A quest-driven 2D adventure through shifting dimensions, packed with juicy visuals, absurd humor, obscure references, and, of course, rats.

You play as a homeless man who stumbles upon a strange artifact. It opens a portal between two worlds: one - rotten, damp, and painfully real. The other - neon-bright, eerily familiar, and just as broken.

But why are you here?

We don't have a brain, but have an idea. Many sketches, many experiments.

Polish a small part of the game almost to finish. Testing final mechanics, adjusting the pace and story flow.

Features

There’s no princess, no glory. Our protagonist isn’t your average hero. He’s dirty, burnt-out, and deeply philosophical in the way only someone who screams at pigeons can be.

Visuals & Style

This isn’t template-generated fluff, it’s slow, stubborn, hand-crafted work.
From the first pencil sketch to the final cluttered alley, everything is drawn by hand. Even the rat is animated frame by frame, just to capture its scruffiness and uneven twitch.
We chose this way that to break away from the glossy, hollow patterns of modern casual trash. Instead of bland tap-to-win simulators, we offer vivid, dirty, unpolished scenes.

Expect a demo version, pitch video and screenshots that kind of hurt to look at (in a good way). And also gameplay that — somehow — might actually be damn good.
